"As students of Malden High School, we aim to make the MBTA the best it can be for teenagers and the general public. Our goals are to improve the relationship between bus drivers and teens, to tackle the problem of the bus fares being raised by the MBTA, and to improve the experience on the T as a whole."

Some students won't be able to afford to take the bus when the fares rise on July 1st, 2012.
Cause
The MBTA was essentially born into debt due to the government using money that wasn't available to the subway system, leaving the T with a big debt before it began operating.
Our goals
To sucessfully get kids on the bus to school every morning, and back home.
To improve relations between students and T employees.
Reduce costs for students on T.
But how are we going to reach these goals?
Make Survey Questions for students for them to answer them and see how many people the MBTA bus fares affect.
Influence others through social network and media. Write letters to MBTA service about how it negatively affects the people in Malden.
Spread the word on twitter, tumblr, facebook, and other social media websites.
Make commercial videos on youtube.
Make fan pages where people can join and state their minds.
Write letters to Mr.Brown (principal) and Ms.Sullivan
Explain the issue (Increased bus fares).
Show how it affects students in attendence and in general through survey.
Write letters to Mayor Christenson
Explain the issue and how it affects students and the people of Malden.
Make an appointment with him and explain why we want this problem not to occur.
Get School Involved!
Tell friends, parents, and teachers about the issues.
Explain to them how they can help us (participation).
Find a non-destructable way to inform students and teachers about the raising of the bus fares.
*Get students to help clean the buses for help (Time is money!) They can also help other people to get money on their cards.*
Bring free food, like pizza, to get students motivated.
Juniors and seniors can be influenced because of their resume for college application- Cleaning MBTA buses can be counted as community service, too.
